I had a dream this morning and the first thing I thought of when I woke up was I wanted to be a life coach for people trying to lose weight. I didn’t realize it at the time, but there is a major at Arizona State University for a Healthy Lifestyles Coach. That is exactly what I want to do with my life. I want to help people lose weight and stay off of prescriptions for high blood pressure and diabetes, etc.
I am my first client. Right now I weigh close to 230 pounds and am in the worst shape of my life. I tried to workout today for 15 minutes, but I am so out of shape that I only made it halfway through. At least I tried. It’s not about how you start. It’s about persistence and how you finish.
I purchased healthy groceries on Saturday. However, I think I ate too much today. I was just so hungry. I need to find low-calorie things to snack on.
My goal is to lose weight and get in shape. After I graduate, I want to work for myself as a healthy lifestyles coach.
